Let's give 'em something to talk about

So, here's my question of the day: do you truely, ever really know
someone? Do you know all they secrets and demons? Do you know about
their past and what they want for the future?

We talk; we all talk. Especially about other people. I will admit I am
guilty of this. I hate when people talk about me, usually none of it
good. They are very bad for it at the vet. It rubbed off on me. I've
heard it brings co-workers closer. When I think about it, I don't
think it does. From now on, I'm going to try very hard to not gossip
about others. Now, I may fuss about work, but I'll try my hardest not
to talk about other people. It's just not nice.

I guess the reason I ask tonights question is because I have trust
issues. I'm not really sure where they stem from but I know they are
there. I don't want to shut off from people like I am.

Any advice?

I have been with the Hubby for almost 9 years and I learn something new about him everyday, and I love that. So you never get to truly know exactly who someone is, but you do get to know the gist of it and keep on learning from there.

Gossip is something I have been desperatly trying to stay away from. That is why I don't talk to those people anymore. it makes me feel bad about myself when I catch myself participating. I say stay strong and just don't participate when they do it. That is about it besides shutting them out completely. Good Luck!

@Pam- it's kind of hard for me to stay away from since I work with them. I'll get through.

@Brett- Yeah, it's it horrible?
